MOLINE, ILLINOIS (June 10, 2020) — The Quad Cities Chamber has partnered with Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) to offer ten students limited, no-cost access into their Manufacturing Awareness Program “25 in 25.”

The 90-day free online-training program provides full access to self-paced learning modules for exploring and earning certifications toward a career in manufacturing. It includes 25 different courses, each lasting no more than one hour.

The program is laid out in three sections beginning with three introductory classes providing an overview of the manufacturing process. That is followed by 10 additional classes, at the conclusion of which the participant receives a Manufacturing Awareness Certificate.

The participant could choose to continue with 12 additional classes to a obtain a certificate in Manufacturing Fundamentals.

Interested participants should email Tim Cottle of EICC at tcottle@eicc.edu and include “Manufacturing Awareness Program” in the email subject line. This will ensure that your message receives a rapid response, as this class will fill up quickly.
