DDP Hospitality Ambassadors Become Eyes and Ears of Downtown Davenport

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 21, 2021) — A pair of energetic, friendly Quad Citizens now are roving the streets of downtown Davenport to help inform, connect, and problem-solve for those who live, work, and play here. Meet Emily Dibley and Omar Gutierrez: The first Hospitality Ambassadors hired by the Downtown Davenport Partnership (DDP), a division of the Quad Cities Chamber.

“Be Downtown” Event June 5 Features Bands, Bags, Bites, and Beverages

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 7, 2021) — The Downtown Bettendorf Organization (DBO) will once again present its “Be Downtown” event, 9:30AM-10PM, Saturday, June 5, in downtown Bettendorf. Located in the City of Bettendorf’s parking lot at 15th and State, this free, family-friendly event will feature multiple-bags tournaments with cash prizes, live outdoor music, food and drink vendors, children’s activities, and more.

Red, White, and Boom Fireworks Display Set to Return July 3

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 21, 2021) — The annual bi-state Red, White, and Boom fireworks display in downtown Davenport and Rock Island will return this year and is scheduled for July 3, 2021. Red, White, and Boom is the largest fireworks display in the Quad Cities, shot from two barges in the middle of the Mississippi River.
