(Quad Cities) - The Quad Cities Chamber has retained Waverly Partners, LLC to begin the search for the next CEO to lead the organization. Waverly Partners is a national executive search firm and the preferred provider of executive search services of the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.

The Chamber’s board of directors has appointed a diverse 9-person search task force that represents businesses large and small, from Iowa and Illinois communities, and a variety of business sectors to evaluate and interview potential candidates.

The task force will work closely with Waverly Partners, initially developing a Position Profile for the CEO role which, when finalized, will be posted on the Chamber’s website. Qualified applicants or referrals should contact the search firm through the following email address: QuadCities@Waverly-Partners.com. The task force members will participate in reviewing applications as well as conduct interviews of qualified candidates. The Chamber anticipates that initial interviews will take place in November, and that final candidates will be introduced through community meet-and-greets in December or early January 2018.

“The Quad Cities Chamber is well-respected among Chamber’s across the country, and is recognized as an industry leader for its success in creating one of the country’s only merged, bi-state Chamber and economic development organizations,” says Pat Eikenberry, Chairman of the Quad Cities Chamber Board of Directors. “I’m confident that we will attract some of the best talent in the industry, and I’m excited for our board to identify a catalytic leader for Chamber. I look forward to keeping our members and the community up-to-date about the search over the next several months.”
