DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 9, 2026) — Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley (BBBSMV) invites community members, supporters, and partners to a Meet and Greet event welcoming its new President and CEO, Daniel Gleason, on Wednesday, August 12, 6-8PM, at Iron Tee Golf.
The casual, come-and-go event offers the community an opportunity to meet Gleason, mingle with BBBSMV board members and staff, and learn more about the agency's mission to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships for youth throughout the Quad Cities region.
"This Community Fundraising Meet and Greet is a chance for our community to put a face to the name and to see firsthand the passion our board and staff bring to this work every day," said Daniel Gleason, President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley.
"Mentoring changes lives, and it takes an entire community — donors, volunteers, and partners — to make that happen. I'm looking forward to connecting with as many people as possible."
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley has served the Quad Cities community for decades, matching youth ("Littles") with caring adult mentors ("Bigs") to help them build confidence, set goals, and reach their full potential.
