BETTENDORF, IOWA (July 21, 2022) — Quad Cities Interfaith's Annual Fundraising Breakfast will be hosted on August 18, 7-8AM, at the Muslim Community of the Quad Cities 2115 Kimberly Road, Bettendorf, Iowa. For the first time, after two years of virtual and On-The-Go breakfast fundraisers, we are back in person.

This year, we will honor five community members and their families who have shown great commitment to making the Quad Cities a more just and welcoming community with our Quad Cities Interfaith Community Leadership and Justice Awards. The Honorees are Cecilia O'Brien, Jackie McCoy, Gloria Mancilla, Tracy White, and Tee LaShore.

Quad Cities Interfaith is a local organization who fights for social justice in our community. When you invest in QCI, you are investing in the work of the Excluded and Essential workers, who demanded premium pay and stimulus checks for Essential Workers who did not receive them. You are investing in reforming the criminal legal system with our work toward eliminating cash bail and bond, and juvenile fines and fees. You are investing in the implementation of the Clean Energy Jobs act in Illinois, which ensures black and brown communities benefit from the clean-jobs initiative in Illinois.

Can't make the breakfast but want to invest in the work of justice? Purchase an ad for your business, non-profit, or a memorial to honor a loved one that will be showcased in our Community Report. Invest in our work by contacting Office@qcinterfaith.org or call 563-676-4824.
