DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 8, 2025) — On Saturday, October 18, 11AM, Quad Cities residents will meet at Vander Veer Botanical Park (215 W Central Park Ave, Davenport) and join “No Kings 2” in what is expected once again to be the largest single-day mobilization since President Trump returned to office — a mass, nationwide protest rejecting authoritarianism, billionaire-first politics, and the militarization of our democracy.

The “No Kings 2” mobilization is a response to President Trump’s ongoing dismantlement of Constitutional protections on free speech, voting rights, and due process. It is a collective cry against unprecedented corruption, the militarization of our cities, and the assault on human rights, at home and abroad.

Across all fifty states, and around the world, millions will gather to declare: The president is not a king. No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance. From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism — and show the world what democracy really looks like.

All No Kings events adhere to a shared commitment to non-violent protest and community safety.

Organizers are trained in de-escalation and are working closely with local partners to ensure peaceful and powerful actions nationwide.
