Davenport, Iowa – On Saturday May 6, QC locals are invited to a free cultural celebration at the Center for entertainment, children’s activities, food, and company.

QCAIR is an organization dedicated to building community among refugees, immigrants, and citizens of the Quad Cities. We serve as a resource for understanding, housing, jobs, and education and more. This event aims to celebrate the diversity of different cultures by integrating them into one festival. We also hope to raise awareness and celebrate the contributions that immigrants and refugees have made to the Quad City community.
Here are some activities that are planned for the festival:

Children’s Activities – there will be opportunities to color, decorate, and share via unique art projects

Entertainment – there will be performances by local groups including the Glenview Mariachi Band and Irish Dancers.

Food – there will be a variety of food available at the event

Speakers – speakers include members from the One Human Family and Islamic Center of the QC
