It’s almost time for the annual QC Area Teen Video Contest! You’re invited to create and submit a 3-5 minute video on this year’s theme, “Libraries are for Creating.” Videos will be shown on the Putnum Museum’s Giant Screen at the Teen Video Contest Premiere Party on Thursday March 8 at 6:00pm. Entry forms and complete rules are available at the Library.

Need some help making your video? Join us for two Teen Video Workshops taking place at the Davenport Library in February!

Stop Motion Workshop at Fairmount (3000 Fairmount Street) on Saturday, February 17 at 1:00pm. Learn simple stop-motion video using the Library’s resources, props and backdrops to create a video for the Teen Video Contest. Participants must bring their own device loaded with the free app Stop Motion Studio or work together as a team using one of the Library’s devices.

Creative Workshop at Eastern (6000 Eastern Avenue) on Saturday, February 24 at 10:00am. Use the Library’s computers, cameras and TechKnow resources to create a video for the Teen Video Contest.
