MOLINE, ILLINOIS (April 1, 2026) — The Storm split its weekend road series with the Pensacola Ice Flyers, dropping game one Friday and bouncing back for a two/one shoot-out victory Saturday. The win propelled the Storm back into the eighth and final SPHL play-off spot ahead of the final weekend of the regular season. The Storm returns to home ice this weekend to face off against the Huntsville Havoc for the final two games of the regular season.

Friday, April 3, is #HockeyTownQC Night presented by the QC International Airport when the Storm welcomes back Mallard and Storm alumni for an autograph session and recognition on the ice pregame. Specialty #HockeyTownQC jerseys will be worn in-game and auctioned postgame.

Saturday, April 4, is Fan Appreciation Night featuring a team poster giveaway for the first 1000 fans in attendance. There will be merchandise discounts and promotions for fans throughout the night.

The play-off picture is complicated, but could be finalized as soon as Friday Night. The Storm will clinch a play-off berth with any of the following scenarios:

● Storm win both games, Macon loses a game

● Storm win both games, Knoxville OR Birmingham lose both their games

● Storm win one game, Macon loses two games
