DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 1, 2021) — Students can register now for 2021 summer classes with Davenport High Schools. These sessions offer a safe, welcoming learning experience that will provide high school students with an opportunity to recover credits and maintain their academic schedules.
“With COVID-19 being so prevalent during the school year and disrupting people’s schedules, some students might wish to make up credits they may have missed,” said Ellen Weishaar, Summer School Coordinator for Central High School. “Also, some may want to finish online courses they haven’t fnished yet.”
Dates and times of summer classes for Davenport High Schools will be 8-10AM, 10AM-12PM, or 8AM-12PM, from June 28 through July 22, 2021, with no school on Fridays. Locations will be Central High School, Mid-City High School, North High School, and West High School.
To register, students should go online and complete this form:

“Please register as soon as possible,” Weishaar said. “There are a limited number of spaces available, which are prioritized by upperclassmen who are credit-deficient. Registration deadline is June 4. All course requests must be verified by a counselor prior to student registration confirmation.”
