BETTENDORF, IOWA (April 20, 2026) — Rivermont Collegiate invites the community to celebrate the excitement and elegance of the Kentucky Derby at:

Guests are encouraged to wear their best Derby attire and enjoy a lively afternoon inspired by Churchill Downs traditions. The event will feature games, contests, and a live broadcast of the Kentucky Derby, often called the “greatest two minutes in sports.” Highlights include Best Dressed Contests, Bourbon Auction, Rivermont Derby (Rivermont’s version of the Run for the Roses), and a live showing of the Kentucky Derby.

Bourbon Tasting Experience

Guests looking to enhance their Derby Day celebration can participate in the Bourbon Tasting Experience for $100 per person, which includes the $50 event admission. Led by a bourbon enthusiast, this guided tasting will feature a curated selection of popular bourbons, paired with bites that complement each flavor. The Bourbon Tasting Experience is limited to fifty guests, and advance purchase is recommended.

Pappy Van Winkle Pour

Guests will have the exclusive opportunity to enjoy Pappy Van Winkle, one of the most legendary and highly-sought-after Kentucky bourbons. Samples of Pappy Van Winkle will be available at the event for $75 each.
