BETTENDORF, IOWA (June 29, 2026) — Rivermont Collegiate will host a free Personalized Learning Math Acceleration Camp July 6–10, offering area students the opportunity to explore how artificial intelligence and personalized instruction can work together to enhance mathematical learning.

The Math Acceleration Camp is designed for students entering grades five through eight and combines expert instruction with innovative technology powered by Lorsey, an AI-driven personalized learning platform.

The program will run 10AM-12PM each day on the Rivermont campus.

Students will work alongside experienced educators and use a variety of AI tools to solve problems, discover new concepts, and strengthen mathematical thinking. The camp emphasizes personalized instruction, helping each participant identify and pursue their next best learning opportunity.

Rivermont Collegiate was recently selected as the founding design-partner school for Lorsey, an AI-powered personalized-learning platform. The partnership places Rivermont at the forefront of educational innovation and gives students access to emerging technologies that support individualized learning.

The camp will be managed by Richard Wiley, a veteran educator and former principal with more than thirty years of K-12 experience. Wiley serves as an advisor to Lorsey, specializing in curriculum alignment, assessment strategy, and the practical implementation of teacher-centered technology solutions. He is also recognized for his expertise in NWEA MAP Growth and in instructional leadership.

The camp is free and open to community students in grades five through eight. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
