DAVENPORT, IOWA (January 12, 2022) — Join Kevin Braafladt, the Army Sustainment Command Deputy Historian at the Rock Island Arsenal, and the Army Sustainment Command History Office, on Wednesday, January 12, 6PM, in exploring the history of the Rock Island Arsenal over its 160-year existence. This session will discuss the topic of the Battle of the Rock Island Rapids within the context of the War of 1812 and the local conflicts that broke out during the war on the Mississippi River.
