Event will raise funds for student scholarships, competition fees

ROCK ISLAND, Illinois (January 13, 2018) – Test your smarts and help music students at a Trivia Night on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 25 Union Hall, 4600 46th Ave., Rock Island. The event is organized by the Rock Island Music Association (RIMA), a nonprofit organization that supports band, orchestra and choir programs in the Rock Island-Milan School District. Money raised from the event will provide scholarships for music lessons and camps and entrance fees to festivals and competitions.

Doors open at starts 5:30 p.m. and play begins at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $10 per person. Players may bring their own snacks, but no outside beverages are allowed. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages may be purchased at the event. A 50-50 raffle and basket raffles will be held.
