DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 13, 2026) — Rosecrance Behavioral Health served 81,672 individuals in fiscal year 2026, reflecting its growing reach and continued investment in mental health and substance use treatment.

As Rosecrance expands, its purpose remains rooted in the people and families who turn to it for hope.

“Behind every person served is someone looking for hope, a family seeking answers, and a community counting on us to be there,” said Dave Gomel, CEO of Rosecrance Behavioral Health.

“Our staff provided more than 253,000 hours of care this year. That reflects both their dedication and our commitment to helping people find a way forward, with support that evolves as their needs change.”

National data underscore the need to expand access to behavioral health-care. About 40% of the US population lived in designated mental-health professional shortage areas as of December 2025. Meanwhile, only 16% of people age twelve and older who needed substance use treatment received it in 2025.

Rosecrance is responding by opening outpatient clinics in more communities, reducing barriers to treatment, and strengthening connections across its levels of care. This approach supports access close to home while helping individuals continue receiving care as they transition between services.

Rosecrance is also investing in specialized services to close gaps in care and meet the changing needs of the communities it serves. These offerings include eating-disorder treatment and sport and performance counseling through Rosecrance Therapies, Rosecrance Resilience for professionals in high-risk roles and labor unions, and problem-gambling treatment.

By integrating these services into its continuum of care, Rosecrance helps individuals access treatment tailored to their needs, including support for conditions that occur alongside mental-health and substance-use disorders.

“Expanding access means understanding where people encounter barriers and building services that help them move forward,” Gomel said.

“We’re listening to our communities, bringing care closer to home, and investing in specialized treatment.

“Our responsibility is to make sure that growth translates into meaningful support for the people and families who depend on us.”
