DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 15, 2021) — Scott County Iowa Genealogical Society and the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center of the Davenport Public Library invite you to their monthly meeting Monday, November 1, 6:30PM.

November’s presentation will be a talk by Michael Schmidt called “Oddities of the Lincoln Assassination.” Schmidt is a retired teacher of history and theater from Moline’s United Township High School. He was born and raised in Davenport and currently lives in Moline with his wife, Jane. He has a BA from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, and an MA from Roosevelt University in Chicago.

This program is scheduled to be held in person at the Eastern Library (6000 Eastern Ave) and virtually.
