Here is information about Sen Grassley’s schedule this week. The Senate is in session.

Sen. Grassley met or will meet with Iowans from the Iowa Association for College Admission Counselors, the American Speech Language and Hearing Association, Pottawattamie Arts, Culture and Entertainment, the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, the Iowa State Association of Counties, the Iowa Alliance of YMCAs, the Lupus Foundation of America, the Boys and Girls Club of Central Iowa, the American Osteopathic Association, the Iowa VFW, the Greater Iowa Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Aluminum Association, the Iowa-Nebraska Equipment Dealers Association, A Brotherhood Aimed Towards Education of Iowa, the Area Agencies on Aging of Iowa, the American Wind Energy Association, the Iowa State Dairy Association, the Iowa Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America, the American Advertising Federation, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Sen Grassley met or will meet with Iowa families visiting Washington DC from Ames, Ankeny, and Marion.

Sen. Grassley was or will be on public affairs programs with Jeff Angelo on WHO in Des Moines, David Asman on Fox Business Network, and Ben Kieffer on Iowa Public Radio’s River to River.

On Tuesday, March 5 at 10AM (ET), Sen Grassley will participate in a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on nominations.

On Tuesday, March 5 at 2:30PM (ET), Sen Grassley will participate in a Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy, and Consumer Rights hearing titled, “Does America Have a Monopoly Problem?: Examining Concentration and Competition in the US Economy.”

On Wednesday, March 6 at 10AM (ET), Sen. Grassley will participate in a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing titled, “Oversight of Customs and Border Protection’s Response to the Smuggling of Persons at the Southern Border.”

On Wednesday, March 6 at 10:15AM (ET), Sen Grassley will preside over a Senate Finance Committee Hearing titled, “Not Forgotten: Protecting Americans From Abuse and Neglect in Nursing Homes.”

On Wednesday, March 6 at 2:30PM (ET), Sen Grassley, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, will host a pen-and-pad briefing with Washington news media covering issues within the jurisdiction of the Senate Finance Committee.

On Wednesday, March 6 at 3:20 p.m. (ET), Sen Grassley will meet with Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller.
