PRESS RELEASE (February 11, 2019) — This weekend, Cory Booker traveled to Iowa and South Carolina for the first time as a presidential candidate, introducing caucus-goers and voters to his record of running towards challenges when others had given up, bringing people together to do big things, and building a more fair and just nation for everyone. In Iowa, Booker travelled to Cerro Gordo, Black Hawk, Linn, Johnson, Marshall, and Polk counties to meet and speak with Iowans on issues ranging from the challenges facing small family farms to fixing our broken criminal justice system. In South Carolina, Booker traveled to Fairfield, Bamberg and Sumter counties to meet with South Carolinians and discuss economic opportunity, education, rural healthcare, and more.
