DES MOINES, IOWA (March 8, 2019) — Today, Cory 2020 announced that Cory Booker will be returning to the state of Iowa for a series of events on Saturday, March 16, and Sunday, March 17, in which he will continue to introduce himself to Iowa caucus-goers. Cory will be holding events in all four of Iowa’s Congressional Districts, with stops in Wapello, Warren, Dallas, Story, Black Hawk, Polk, and Scott counties.   This most recent swing through the Hawkeye State comes after the first trip of his presidential campaign where Cory met with nearly 1,500 Iowans in church basements, family homes, and late-night college hangouts across the state to discuss his vision of a stronger and more-united country. Additional information, including specific locations and a detailed schedule of events, will be made public in subsequent media advisories.   About the Campaign Americans’ faith is shaken. Right now, people fear that the lines that divide us are growing stronger than the ties that bind us. Senator Booker is running for president to change that. He believes that the answer to our common pain is to reignite our sense of common purpose to build a more fair and just nation for everyone. Together, we will ensure that our generation and those to come will achieve things others say can’t be done. Together, we will rise.
