JOHNSTON, IOWA (July 25, 2019) — Share the Fair with Iowa Public Television to be a part of IPTV's coverage of the 2019 Iowa State Fair! For 49 years, IPTV has brought Fair highlights statewide and will once again provide extensive coverage on-air and online. Join the conversation on social media using #IPTVFair19. This year's on-air and online coverage begins with the 2019 Iowa State Fair Parade, broadcast statewide and livestreamed on Facebook and Iptv.org on Wednesday, August 7, at 6:15PM. Fair 2019 will air nightly on statewide Iowa Public Television Monday, August 12 through Saturday, August 17 at 9PM and 10:30PM. Fair 2019 will also be livestreamed at 9PM on Facebook and Iptv.org. Host Bill Riley will join viewers on Facebook, responding to comments and questions in the livestream chats. Fans will feel like they're right there at the Fair with IPTV's 360-degree videos, live-from-the-Fair segments, sneak peeks, and other exclusive online content. Follow along as two IPTV Digital team members go head-to-head as complete novices entering Iowa State Fair contests — and as online host Paul Yeager experiences all the Fair has to offer. IPTV is asking viewers to share their pictures from the Iowa State Fair. Fairgoers may submit their photos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using #IPTVFairPhoto, or join IPTV's Iowa State Fair group on Flickr. Photos may be featured online at Iptv.org/fair or on IPTV's social media accounts as the Photo of the Day! IPTV will be active on FacebookTwitterInstagram, and Snapchat, offering followers a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes action of filming Fair 2019. Add IowaPublicTV on Snapchat and follow IowaPublicTelevision on Instagram for an inside look and extra Fair fun. While at the fairgrounds, fans will be able to add IPTV's custom Snapchat geofilter to their Fair photos and videos.
