DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 24, 2021) — The Davenport Public Library is partnering with Oelerich, Reiling, and Miller PC and Shred-It to present a Free Shred Day on Thursday, April 22, 1–4PM, at the Davenport Eastern Avenue Branch (6000 Eastern Ave.). Community members can bring up to three standard file containers, maximum size 15 x 12 x 10 inches, for secure shredding. Documents will be confidentially shredded on-site. Binders must be removed, but staples and paperclips are fine.

To ensure that this popular event moves smoothly and efficiently, follow the posted signs to drop off their materials in the order you arrive in line. Signs will be posted to direct traffic flow throughout the parking lot.

Due to COVID-19, our vendor has requested that everyone wear a mask and gloves. People bringing in material must stay in their vehicles and tell us where the material is located in the vehicle. Do not get out of your car.

No registration is required, but documents to be shredded will not be accepted before the event. Weather permitting, shredding will happen in the parking lot.

This event is FREE and open to the public. For more information visit www.davenportlibrary.com or call the library at (563) 326-7832.
