ROCK FALLS, ILLINOIS (September 1, 2026) — Get ready for the 3rd Annual Spooktacular Halloween Lighted Golf Cart and UTV Parade in Rock Falls, Illinois.
Rock Falls Tourism is excited to bring back one of our favorite Halloween traditions!
Join us Saturday, October 17, 2026, 6:30PM, for a night filled with lights, costumes, creativity, and Halloween fun!
Choose a theme, dress up in your favorite Halloween costume, and deck out your golf cart or UTV to be part of this glowing celebration! Awards will be presented for our favorite entries!
The parade will kick off at Rock Falls High School on 11th Avenue, travel down West 2nd Street, turn north onto 2nd Avenue, turn left onto 1st Street, and finish at the MICRO Parking Lot on 4th Avenue.
Registration closes Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
No walk-up registrations will be accepted.
We welcome participants from Rock Falls and all surrounding communities!

ENTRY FEES:
• Golf carts/UTVs already registered with the City of Rock Falls: $10
• Golf carts/UTVs not registered in Rock Falls: $20 for a one-day permit
Not registered in Rock Falls? No problem! Simply trailer your golf cart or UTV into the Rock Falls city limits, park at the designated location, and get ready!

PARADE RULES:
1. Golf Carts or UTVs only.
2. Advance registration is required. No walkups.
3. If you are trailering your golf cart or UTV, parking will be in the back parking lot of Rock Falls High School and parking lot will be open at 5PM.
4. Only registered parade entrants will be permitted in the back parking lot of Rock Falls High School.
5. Line-up will be in the back parking lot of Rock Falls High School.
6. Parade steps off promptly at 6:30PM.
7. The number of participants may not exceed the recommended capacity of the golf cart or UTV.
8. All golf carts and UTVs must be at least 50% decorated.
9. All golf carts and UTVs must be decorated in the spirit of the Halloween season, family friendly, and in good taste.
10. Candy may be thrown, but please use caution!
11. All vehicles/trailers must be moved out of the Rock Falls High School parking lot by 10PM.
12. Failure to comply with the rules will result in immediate removal from the event.
