National, Iowa ACTEs to host media tour throughout Iowa from March 11-14

ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA (March 5, 2019) — The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) has announced a joint media tour in Iowa with the Iowa Association for Career and Technical Education (Iowa ACTE). The two associations will visit eight career and technical education (CTE) programs between Monday, March 11 and Thursday, March 14.

Members of the media, state legislators and local policymakers are invited to attend. The tours will provide firsthand insight into the innovative CTE programs in the area, as well as an opportunity to ask questions of representatives from both associations, school administrators, educators and students. Traveling to each stop on the tour will be: Sandy Miller, Iowa ACTE Executive Director; Lisa Stange, ACTE Region III Vice President and Iowa Department of Education Liaison; and Jarrod Nagurka, ACTE Advocacy and Public Affairs Manager.
