CANTON, MISSOURI (August 31, 2020) Twenty-six students recently were welcomed as the 2020-21 Residence Life staff at Culver-Stockton College.

Residence Life assistants returned to campus on August 5 for a week of training to prepare for the upcoming semester. They are responsible for developing a healthy, open, safe, and welcoming community for all students in residence. They help shape a climate in the residence halls that is conducive to academic achievement. The 26 RAs were selected in February 2020.

Named to the Residence Life staff in Wood Hall is Taryn Hutcherson, a Elementary Education and Early Childhood major from Moline, Illinois. Named to the Residence Life staff in Johnson Hall is Grace Herington, a Elementary Education major from Bettendorf, Iowa.

Culver-Stockton College, located in Canton, Missouri, is a four-year residential institution in affiliation with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). C-SC specializes in experiential education and is one of only two colleges in the nation to offer the 12+3 semester calendar, where the typical 15-week semester is divided into a 12-week term and a 3-week term.

C-SC is a member of the Heart of America Athletic Conference and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
