Unleash Your Story! Celebrate Teen Read Week and represent Davenport in the 2017 QC Area Libraries’ Teen Reading Challenge!

Teens in grades 6-12 can pick up a reading log at any Davenport Library location after October 1. They will have three weeks to read as many minutes as they can before returning their log to the Library by October 21. Teens will receive a finishing prize, entries into many gift card raffles and a ticket for the teen and a friend to attend the afterhours Teen Reading Challenge Party at Fairmount (3000 Fairmount) on Friday October 27.

Be sure to visit each Davenport library location for more reading prizes and contests. Last year, Davenport teens read over 49,000 minutes for the challenge! Let’s see if we can beat that this year!

For more information, visit www.davenportlibrary.com or call the library at (563) 326-7832.

Help Keep the Reader Alive and Free Since '93!

"We're the River Cities' Reader, and we've kept the Quad Cities' only independently owned newspaper alive and free since 1993.

So please help the Reader keep going with your one-time, monthly, or annual support. With your financial support the Reader can continue providing uncensored, non-scripted, and independent journalism alongside the Quad Cities' area's most comprehensive cultural coverage." - Todd McGreevy, Publisher
