ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (February 2, 2026) — The Quad Cities will welcome elite collegiate athletes from across the nation for the QC D3 National Invite. This event is set for February 6-7, 2026, at the Carver Center on the campus of Augustana College in Rock Island. The two-day national invitational brings together top NCAA Division III women's wrestling programs, showcasing their strength, skill, and competitive spirit in one of the fastest-growing sports in collegiate athletics. Athletes will compete across multiple weight classes in a high-energy environment that highlights both individual excellence and team success.

"The QC D3 National Invitational is about more than great wrestling," said Tony Willaert, Head Coach of Augustana College Wrestling.

"It’s about showcasing what happens when a community, a region, and Division III athletics come together with purpose. We’re excited to bring some of the best programs in the country to the Quad Cities and create an event that highlights both high-level competition and the incredible hospitality this area is known for. This tournament gives our student-athletes a championship-level experience while also inviting fans, families, and local partners to be part of something special. Events like this help strengthen the connection between college athletics and the community, and we’re proud that Augustana and the Quad Cities can serve as the host. We believe this invite can grow into a signature event on the Division III wrestling calendar for years to come."

Spectators can expect fast-paced matches, impressive technique, and a spirited atmosphere as athletes compete for top finishes throughout the weekend. The event offers fans, families, and visitors an opportunity to experience high-level collegiate competition.
