ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (October 7, 2026) — The Quad Cities Bicycle Club will host a Bikes for Tykes Trivia Night on Friday, November 6, at the Holiday Inn in downtown Rock Island. The event, which is open to the public, will be held in the second-floor ballroom, with doors opening at 5:15PM and the trivia contest beginning about one hour later.
All proceeds from Trivia Night will benefit Bikes for Tykes, the QCBC’s annual charity drive that gets bicycles and related accessories to the children of families in need in time for the holidays. Through a partnership with Toys for Tots, the QCBC distributed more than 150 bicycles and bike packages to Quad Cities area families in 2025.
Tables of up to eight people (and please no larger) can register for Trivia Night for $150. Singles are welcome at a cost of $20. All tables will get three mulligans that can be used strategically throughout the contest.
Along with ten rounds, with ten trivia questions each, the evening will feature a “heads or tails” contest, a “Holly Jolly Christmas Dress-up” competition, plus other opportunities to win prizes. The one and only Tiny the Elf will take a break from building toys on the North Pole to serve as Trivia Night emcee.
You may bring own food and snacks to Trivia Night; however, all beverages must be purchased at the Holiday Inn’s cash bar.
While walk-ins are welcome, you are asked to register in advance for Trivia Night. To register, go to the QCBC website, at qcbc.org; click on “Calendar” on the top dropdown menu; then click on the Trivia Night entry on November 6. You need not be a QCBC member to register through the club’s website.
If you can’t make it to Trivia Night but would like to make a donation to Bikes for Tykes, click on “Donation to Club” on the top menu to go to a page where you can donate to this good cause.
