ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (May 4, 2026) — The Quad Cities community is invited to participate in Bike to Work Week, taking place from May 11 to May 15. Cities and community organizations, in partnership with the Quad Cities Bicycle Club, are encouraging commuters to swap their cars for bicycles, in order to promote healthier lifestyles, a greener future, and more livable communities.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 7, 2025) — The Quad Cities Bicycle Club will host “Bikes for Tykes Trivia Night” on Friday, November 14, at the Columbus Club in Davenport.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Bikes for Tykes, an annual effort by the QCBC to brighten the upcoming holiday season by donating bicycles and accessories to the children of needy families in the area.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 11, 2025) — Registration is now open for the Tour of the Heartland, an annual bicycle ride that gives participants a chance to “Choose Your Challenge.”

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 16, 2025) — The Quad Cities Bicycle Club will sponsor the Ride of Silence on Wednesday, May 21. The ride commemorates those who’ve lost their lives or were injured while cycling on public roadways, and also aims to raise awareness among law enforcement, public officials, and the members of the community of the legal presence of cyclists on public roadways, and the need to respect the rights of those riding bicycles.
