DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 7, 2025) — The Quad Cities Bicycle Club will host “Bikes for Tykes Trivia Night” on Friday, November 14, at the Columbus Club in Davenport.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Bikes for Tykes, an annual effort by the QCBC to brighten the upcoming holiday season by donating bicycles and accessories to the children of needy families in the area.
Doors open at 5PM, and the trivia competition gets under way at 6:15PM. The cost to enter is $150 for a table of up to ten people. Solo players are also welcome, at $15 each; come by yourself or with others, and you and your friends will be matched with a table.
To register for Bikes for Tykes Trivia Night, go to the club’s website, at qcbc.org.
Go to “Calendar” on the dropdown menu at the top of the page, then go to November 14 and click on the event. You need not be a QCBC member to register from the club’s calendar, where payment can be made via credit or debit card.
You can also sign up and pay at the door on the night of the event. Only cash payments can be accepted at the door; checks and credit/debit cards cannot be accepted.
Tiny the Elf will serve as emcee for the trivia contest, which will feature ten rounds in various categories with ten questions each. Mulligans are included in the entry fee, which also includes raffle tickets for door prizes drawn between rounds.
Other fun features of Trivia Night include a “heads or tails” contest at $1 each and a competition for “ugliest Christmas outfit,” held at halftime following the fifth round.
You’re welcome to bring your own food and snacks, but all beverages must be purchased at the Columbus Club.
