Feb. 14, 2018 (Davenport, Iowa) – Come dressed as your favorite “Saturday Night Live” character as we celebrate Gilda Radner and her vision of providing free support, laughter and hope to those who have been impacted by cancer during the 19th annual Gilda’s Run for Laughs presented by UnityPoint Health-Trinity in the District of Rock Island on Saturday, April 28 beginning at 8am.
Registration is now open for this year’s race. Registration fees are listed below. New this year, participants running the 5K race can sign up for the Fleet Feet 1 Mile for just $10 more and will receive a Fleet Feet cup at the end of the race that’s good for one free daiquiri fill at the Daquiri Factory. Those who participate in both races will also be entered into a drawing to win a free pair of shoes from Fleet Feet Sports, Davenport. Also new this year, participants who sign up for the 5K race will receive one free, 12 and under Fleet Feet 1 Mile registration for each paid 5K registrant.
Registration fees are as follows:

$15 (Ages 12 and under) if registered by March 30th

$25 (Ages 13 and above) if registered by March 30th

$20 (Ages 12 and under) if registered after March 30th

$30 (Ages 13 and above) if registered after March 30th
Custom awards will be given in the 5K for the overall men’s and women’s champions, overall men’s and women’s survivor champions and for 9-year age groups in both men’s and women’s divisions from under 18 to over 65 years old. Awards will also be given for the largest family and corporate teams. All kids 12 and under that complete the Fleet Feet 1 Mile will receive a participation medal.
Packet pick up will be held on Friday, April 27 from 11am – 4pm at Running Wild; 3216 Brady Street, Davenport. On race day, packets may be picked up beginning at 6:30 am in the Great River Plaza in The District of Rock Island.
