DUBUQUE, IOWA (June 26, 2019) — University of Dubuque celebrated the accomplishments of its undergraduate, graduate, and seminary students at its 167th commencement ceremony on May 18, 2019.  The University Commencement Ceremony was held in Chlapaty Recreation and Wellness Center on campus. Nearly 400 undergraduate and graduate students were eligible to participate in the ceremony. Mark Ward, PhD, vice president for academic affairs, and dean of the faculty, delivered the commencement address, titled "It's Time." The University of Dubuque Theological Seminary Commencement Ceremony was held in Heritage Center's John and Alice Butler Hall on campus. Thirty students received degrees and certificates. Rev Sherrie Ilg (MDiv'10, DMin'18) delivered the commencement address, titled "To Equip God's People." HOMETOWN, STATE; NAME, DEGREE(S), HONORS (if listed)
