Come learn what to do to protect yourself from identity theft with CPA Douglas Reiling of Oelerich & Associates in Davenport. Join us at Fairmount (3000 Fairmount Avenue) on Thursday, September 28 at 6:30pm when the Scott County Master Gardeners will lay out a timetable of the pruning, spraying, composting, aerating, fertilizing and overseeding you need to do – and in the correct order. Get a jump start on your best lawn yet with this expert advice!

Genealogy Night at the Davenport Library

Spend some quality time getting to know your ancestors when the Davenport Library Special Collections Department at Main (321 Main Street) hosts Genealogy Night on Sunday, October 1st.

The Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center will be open especially for this event from 3:00-8:00pm. You will have a chance to do research, meet other genealogists, and learn search tips and tricks. Dinner will be provided. The cost for the event is $10. Registration is not required but encouraged to aid in food planning.
