MOLINE, IL – WQPT, Quad Cities PBS invites veterans who served in the United States military, in any capacity, from World War I through the present, to share their story of service as a part of the Library of Congress’ Veterans History Project. 

The interviews will be held Saturday, July 29 from noon to 3:00 pm during The Wall That Heals exhibit on the campus of Western Illinois University – Quad Cities, 3300 River Drive, Moline, Illinois.

Each story will be recorded and preserved.  “WQPT is proud to continue our work with veterans through our Embracing Our Military initiative. At the present time we have recorded 40 interviews, which have been delivered to the Library of Congress,” said Michael Carton, Director of Education and Outreach for WQPT. “We hope that The Wall That Heals will allow us to memorialize the stories of more Vietnam Veterans for the Library of Congress.”
