LeCLAIRE, IOWA (August 19, 2019) — Cassatt Drywall along with American Family Insurance — The Haffarnan agencies are hosting “Vettes on the River — Vettes Supporting Vets” in LeClaire, Iowa. All money raised from the 2019 Vettes On The River event will be donated to Quad City veterans’ organizations.

The event is Saturday, August 24, 2019, on the LeClaire, Iowa Levee, 8AM-4PM. They are also closing Wisconsin Street from Cody Road up to 4th Street to accommodate the extra cars that are expected. Most cars should be in attendance by noon that day. A flag-raising ceremony by Vietnam Veterans will take place at 11AM to salute all veterans and active military.

Over 350 Corvettes from across the Midwest are expected to attend this event for a fun car-show highlighting Corvettes old and new right along the Mighty Mississippi. If you own a Corvette, this is a great event to show fellow Corvette enthusiasts your “pride and joy” along the beautiful Mississippi River. There will be a LeClaire’s choice award and trophies for each “C” generation. Admission is FREE for spectators.

The Riverboat Twilight is offering 1-1/2 hour sight-seeing cruises at 11AM, 1PM, and 3PM. Cost is $20; find more details and purchase tickets at www.riverboattwilight.com.

Enjoy shopping, dining, touring and all LeClaire has to offer while showing off or admiring the Corvettes.
