DAVENPORT, IOWA (September 8, 2025) — Hundreds of Quad Cities area residents will join the Alzheimer’s Association at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, September 13, at Vibrant Arena at The Mark in Moline. Registration will occur at 8AM, with the Promise Garden Ceremony and the walk itself following at 9:30AM.
On Walk Day, walkers honor those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia with the powerful Promise Garden ceremony — an experience that signifies our solidarity in the fight against the disease. During the ceremony, walkers will hold up flowers of various colors — purple, yellow, blue, and orange — each color representing their personal connection to the disease.
