Davenport, Iowa (January 3, 2022) — The World Affairs Council of the Quad Cities (WACQC) and the Bettendorf Public Library (BPL) would like to inform you of our upcoming cosponsored event, “Stories Around the World.”

Local educators and their students from St Ambrose University and Augustana College are gathering to share their amazing study abroad experiences from around the globe and to present their upcoming trips. Presenters include Dr Mariano Magalhães, Augustana College; Dr Kirk Kelley, St Ambrose University; Dr Terri Switzer, St Ambrose University; and Dr Duk Kim, St Ambrose University.

This free event will be held at the Bettendorf Public Library on Tuesday, January 25, 7PM. Because of COVID-19, the Bettendorf Public Library requires that non-vaccinated individuals wear a mask, while vaccinated individuals are strongly encouraged to wear a mask.

The World Affairs Council of the Quad Cities is a non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to foster global education and international understanding within the Quad Cities, and  beyond.
