DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 16, 2019) — Gilda’s Club is excited to announce the addition of an evening yoga class for Cancer Survivors and Caregivers. Sessions will be held on the first and third Thursday of each month from 6:30–7:30PM at our Davenport Clubhouse (1234 East River Drive, Davenport, Iowa), beginning in April, 2019.

These yoga sessions are facilitated by Alisha Keckler, Cardiac and Medical Yoga certified (RYT). These sessions will integrate the breath with body awareness. Yoga also:

  • Stimulates your immune system and builds bone-density
  • Detoxifies the body and cultivates a sense of well-being
  • Creates a sense of community
  • Empowers participants to take control and enhance their lives

This evening yoga class is in addition to our other Yoga offerings:

  • Yoga 4 Cancer: Every Monday & Thursday, 1:30-2:30PM, led by Kelly Hendershot, Yoga 4 Cancer-certified
  • Chair Yoga: Every Thursday from 5:15–6PM, led by Kelly Craft, LVCY-certified.
