DAVENPORT, IOWA (December 3, 2020) — Gilda’s Club is hosting a free virtual workshop for anyone impacted by cancer on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, 6-7:30PM, via Zoom.
Join Gilda’s Club Quad Cities on Zoom for a free workshop featuring Erin Marshall, a Prevention Specialists with Robert Young Center and Center for Alcohol and Drug Services.
If you or a loved one are facing a struggle with mental health, suicidal thoughts, alcohol, gambling, or drugs, you are not alone. The Iowa Department of Public Health created Your Life Iowa to support Iowans with free, confidential, phone, text, and live-chat counseling-and-support options.
During this presentation, Marshall will show you how to access Your Life Iowa and give an overview of the support options available.
To maintain privacy, participant videos will be turned off upon joining the virtual presentation. Participants who wish to maintain complete anonymity may change their name upon joining the presentation.
This workshop will also be broadcast to Facebook Live at facebook.com/gildasclubqc.
