BETTENDORF, IOWA (December 6, 2019) — Creativity, engineering, and high energy will come together this weekend at the 11th Annual, Quad Cities — Davenport  FIRST LEGO League Qualifiers on Saturday, December 7, and Sunday, December 8. Fifty-eight FIRST LEGO League teams will be completing.

In FIRST LEGO League, teams of students in grades 4-8 research a real-world engineering challenge, develop a solution, and compete with LEGO-based autonomous robots of their own design.

For 2019, the challenge is CITY SHAPER. Students will observe how cities and buildings grow, thrive, and change. They'll create new, innovative solutions to help shape an optimal future, using our environment and modern-day tools and technology to make it last.
