The YWCA of the Quad Cities is hosting a Texas Hold’em Tournament on Friday, Oct. 13 at the Sheraton Four Points in downtown Rock Island. Registration begins at 4:45 p.m. and the tournament begins at 6:00 p.m.

YWCA Announces Texas Hold’em Fall Fundraiser

 The YWCA of the Quad Cities is hosting a Texas Hold’em Tournament on Friday, Oct. 13 at the Sheraton Four Points in downtown Rock Island. Registration begins at 4:45 p.m. and the tournament begins at 6:00 p.m. Entry fee is $50 per player with $25 re-buys throughout the evening. Prizes include : Two round trip Air Tran tickets and a Carnival Cruise; Two lower bowl tickets to Chicago Bears / Green Bay Packers game on Dec. 31, 2006; A satellite radio package in addition to several door prizes.  

The money raised by the event will go toward the YWCA’s childcare programs and Women’s Economic Empowerment Program. For more information call YWCA at 309-788-3479 x12 or visit the Web site at www.qcywca.org.
