Gov Kim Reynolds Signs Executive Order to Support Biofuels Industry

DES MOINES, IOWA (December 3, 2019) — Governor Kim Reynolds signed Executive Order 5 (EO5) requiring all new contracts for the purchase of state vehicles with diesel engines to have written support from the manufacturer to use B20 biodiesel (a blend of 20% biodiesel and 80% petroleum-based diesel) or more. Gov Reynolds signed the executive order at the Iowa Farm Bureau’s Annual Meeting in Des Moines.

The Ridgecrest Bowlfest begins at 1PM and will have 2 flights, pending interest. Teams will consist of 5 bowlers (any age), $100/team. In early November, French president Emmanuel Macron complained that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization  (NATO) is experiencing "brain death" as its member states go their own ways, with "no coordination whatsoever of strategic decision-making." US president Donald Trump's reply: "Nobody needs NATO more than France." The two continued their duel over NATO's future at an early December meeting of the alliance's members in London.
