ELDRIDGE, IOWA (October 16, 2024) — The North Scott Community School District is honored to announce that we will be receiving the Mental Health Matters Award at the annual Bethany for Children and Families Community Celebration 2024, taking place on November 1, at The Stern Center in Rock Island, Illinois. This recognition comes as a result of our ongoing efforts to advocate for mental-health services for our students.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (October 16, 2024) — Fall is in the air, and three Monmouth College choral groups will celebrate that October 19 when they present their annual fall concert.

Under the direction of music professor Tim Pahel (above), the Chorale and the Chamber Choir will be part of the event, which will be held at 7:30PM in the Kasch Performance Hall of Dahl Chapel and Auditorium and is free and open to the public.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (October 16, 2024) — WQPT PBS is hosting their 2024 Imagination Station for kids on Saturday, October 19. “We are looking forward to sharing Imagination Station with our community again this year!” said Melissa Gravert, Director of Educational Outreach at WQPT PBS. The FREE family-friendly event takes place on the campus of Western Illinois University-Quad Cities in Moline, Illinois.
