DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 25, 2019) — The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers scored a combined seven runs in the fifth and sixth innings of Saturday night’s game as they defeated the Quad Cities River Bandits by a 9-4 score at Modern Woodmen Park. The Timber Rattlers received 7.0 solid innings from their starting-pitcher Adam Hill who allowed one run on just three hits.

 

STORM LAKE, IOWA (May 25, 2019) — Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds saluted, championed, and challenged some 570 graduates who gathered near the shores of Storm Lake on Saturday for the 128th commencement celebration at Buena Vista University.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 24, 2019) — The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities is reporting that the continued rainfall, saturated ground-conditions, and the potential for several rounds of thunderstorms over the weekend, will lead to rising river levels. The Mississippi River is continuing to rise and potentially increase to a level between 20.5 feet and 23 feet at the Rock Island location as soon as May 31 (see second link below).
