BETTENDORF, IOWA (July 17, 2019) — On Thursday, July 19, United Way of the Quad Cities will Day of Action to collect school supplies for local children. Nearly 25,000 Quad Cities students are on the Free and Reduced lunch program. By collecting basic school-supply items, United Way of Quad Cities aims to help students feel prepared and ready to learn — thus setting them up for success in the coming school year.
