SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS (March 27, 2019) — State Representative Tony McCombie released the following statement after the Illinois House of Representatives passed the graduated income-tax amendment, SJRCA 1, on a partisan roll-call with only Democrat support:

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 26, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits scored eight runs on nine hits over the first four innings on Sunday afternoon and made them hold up in an 8-4 win over the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at Modern Woodmen Park. The River Bandits did not put a man on base against the Wisconsin bullpen in the final four innings, but had established enough of a cushion to prevail.

STORM LAKE, IOWA (May 25, 2019) — Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds saluted, championed, and challenged some 570 graduates who gathered near the shores of Storm Lake on Saturday for the 128th commencement celebration at Buena Vista University.

"It seems like only a few years ago I was in your seat waiting to walk across the stage," Gov Reynolds said from the podium gracing center stage in Siebens Fieldhouse.

As a matter of fact, she was in that position.
