DES MOINES, IOWA (July 16, 2019) — An analysis of implementation rates of conservation practices identified in the Iowa Nutrient Reduction Strategy (NRS) reveals that participation is stalling, despite optimistic messaging in the 2017-2018 annual NRS progress report.

During Fiscal Year 2019, which concluded on June 30, 24,720 new businesses filed with the Secretary of State’s Office. That is a 4.5% increase from last year’s record high of 23,649.
