BETTENDORF, IOWA (April 4, 2019) — The Iowa Association of REALTORS® (IAR) partnered with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) to provide relief for flood stricken areas of Iowa. NAR’s REALTOR Relief Foundation has awarded IAR a grant of $250,000. IAR is contributing an additional $25,000 to bring the total to $275,000.

WASHINGTON DC (April 4, 2019) — Representative Dave Loebsack released the following statement today after the House passed the reauthorization of the Violence against Women Act of 2019 (VAWA). The bipartisan legislation that passed today is a robust, five-year extension of the bill, which expired in February after it had been reauthorized on a short-term basis since September of last year. The bill now heads to the Senate for its consideration.
