PRESS RELEASE (Februrary 28, 2019) — In an historic move, the Iowa HIV and Hepatitis Community Planning Group (CPG) voted on February 14, 2019, to support the passage of Senate File 125, to establish syringe services programs in Iowa.

NORTH LIBERTY, IOWA (February 28, 2019) — In 2019, Iowa Donor Network (IDN) is celebrating 25 years of carrying out our mission of Working Together to Transform Lives Through Organ and Tissue Donation. Since March 1, 1994, IDN has served as Iowa's sole organ procurement organization. During that time, 1,378 organ donors have given 4,630 organs for transplant. In 2000, IDN added to our services becoming the state's only tissue recovery agency.

QUAD CITIES (February 27, 2019) — For the second year in a row, school absences at Quad Cities schools have dropped as a result of the “Challenge 5” initiative, a collaboration between United Way of the Quad Cities and eight local school districts in Scott and Rock Island counties and sponsored by the Arconic Foundation.
