Davenport, Iowa (Feb. 14, 2018) — Film-lovers will have a chance to see the world without leaving their seat as the World Adventure Series gears up for its final three programs of the season at the Putnam's Giant Screen Theater.

The series continues Feb. 20 by showcasing the “The Lure & Lore of Deserts” along with comments from film director Sandy Mortimer before and after the showing and concludes April 10 with “Guatemala: Land of the Maya.”

A new report, “The Economic Benefits of Nitrogen Reduction” by economists with the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD) at Iowa State University makes the case that reducing nutrient pollution would have substantial economic benefits all across the state.
