February 19, 2018  - EVANSTON, Ill. Campaign Manager Abby Witt released the following statement in response to WCIA’s decision to cancel to only televised downstate debate.

This year, as many of you have heard or may have experienced firsthand, Iowa has seen a particularly large number of folks who have been adversely affected by this year’s flu virus. In fact, the most recent figures show that so far 43 people have tragically died in Iowa alone because of the flu virus, making this one of the worst flu seasons in years.
